The Notting Hill Carnival is definitely the largest street festival in Europe that is taking place on the streets of Notting Hill, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London, UK each August, over two days since 1964.

 

Over these two days the Afro-Caribbean communities celebrate their own cultures and traditions and the carnival attracts around one million people every year, making it one of the largest street festivals in the world.

 

Delicious smells of a smoking barbecue all around, plenty of drinks, many open stages in almost every street of Notting Hill and the main carnival route where you can see great choreography and performers.
